# Selected as bold
Use the Gocontent text editor to format your social media posts. Highlight text and select the 'B' icon to apply bold formatting, enhancing emphasis and readability.
To draw attention to specific information within your post, you can highlight it by making it bold. This technique is effective for emphasizing important points, making them stand out from the rest of the text. By doing so, you ensure that key messages are easily noticed and understood by your readers.
Select the part of the post you want to make bold and click on the **bold button** at the bottom right of your post.
