# Integration with Twitter

Using a [**Twitter**](https://x.com/) account can offer several advantages, depending on your personal or professional goals.

**Access to real-time information:** Twitter is often used to follow the latest news, events, and trends in real-time. Users can quickly stay informed about what’s happening in the world, whether it’s in politics, sports, culture, or other areas.

**Networking and communication:** Twitter allows you to connect with people who share the same interests, whether they are professionals in a particular field, celebrities, or other influential users. It’s an effective way to create and maintain a professional or social network.

**Sharing content and ideas:** Twitter users can share their own ideas, opinions, articles, photos, and videos with a large audience. It’s a platform where one can express thoughts succinctly and engage in discussions.

**Marketing and promotion:** For businesses, influencers, and content creators, Twitter is a powerful tool for promoting products, services, events, or works. It’s a space where you can reach a wide audience directly.

### Twitter integration

GoContent's Twitter integration syncs all new Posts in your account automatically to a Twitter account of your choosing.

Click on '**Integrations**' in the menu located on the left side of the page.

You have 2 choices: 

* Synced with LinkedIn.
* Synced with Twitter.

**Authorise** connection to your Twitter account.

You receive confirmation of connection to your Twitter account.

After completing the authorization process with your account, you can directly post your posts on Twitter.

Click on '**My Post**' in the menu located on the left side of the page.

**Choose** a Post from your list.

The Post appears in a window. Click on '**Post to Twitter**' to Post in your Twitter account.

See your Post in your account.

### **Unlink your account.**

Click on '**Unlink Twitter account**' to unlink your account.
